SFO
Afternoon care
Our SFO (afternoon care) runs daily from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
Children attending our SFO enjoy a variety of engaging activities including:
Arts & Crafts | Mindfulness | Board Games | Free Play
In addition, we offer:
Private piano lessons (Mondays & Tuesdays – paid separately)
Judo, Football, and Modern Dance – included in the SFO fee
These sports require a minimum 1-month commitment at a time.
If your child does not attend SFO, you may still register them for Judo, Football, or Modern Dance for a separate fee of 600 DKK per month per activity. Please note that this fee is non-refundable in cases of absence due to travel or illness
For children aged 9+
If your child has turned 9 years old, they are eligible to attend Ellekilde, a Danish SFO with which we’ve begun a wonderful collaboration.
Here, children will have immersive exposure to the Danish language, interact with animals like rabbits, goats, and horses, and engage in hands-on activities such as woodworking and outdoor play.
📌 Enrollment to Ellekilde is done directly through Ballerup Kommune:
Please make sure to select “Ellekilde” when registering.
If you’d like your child to attend both Montessori SFO and Ellekilde, you will need to pay both fees. Alternatively, you may opt for ½ SFO at Montessori (see our pricing guide for details), or simply pay for individual activities (600 DKK per month per activity).
